Forward Control for Suzuki Volusia M50 or Suzuki Boulevard C50

Our Forward Control Kit moves the stock controls on the Suzuki C50 forward 3.5″. The parts are powder coated black to match the frame. The kit comes with everything needed for installation, all the way down to new cotter pins for the brake rod. Detailed instructions with pictures are also included. Our kit is unique in that it comes with a new longer brake rod so the braking geometry is not changed and you don’t have to relocate the brake light switch (as you do in other kits).

Just finished the install of the forward controls on a 2007 C50. The instructions were good. I received instructions for an M50, A little common sense and the difference with the C50 floor board is no problem. Forums give several suggestions I found helpful. I bought lock washers to replace the provided flat washers for the two M10 x 1.25 x 60 mm bolts. Suggestions for brake side; Step 1. Measure the exposed threads for the break adjusting nut, (makes getting it reinstalled at the same point easy). Step 2. After removing the three bolts on the chrome side cover, I pulled the top of the rear side cover grommet free and rotated the top of the side cover to the rear. This allowed the chrome side cover to drop down between the frame and the pipes, giving clear access to the rear cotter pin. (After market pipes) Suggestions for Gear side: Step 1. Before removing the the gear adjusting link, measure the height of the heal shift pad above the floorboard. This will make getting it repositioned correctly easy. Just got back from a short ride. 5’11”, 35 inch inseam, perfect fit, no need for highway pegs now. Love it.

I installed this on my 05 C50 several years ago. I’m 6’2″ and a lot of it is legs. the stock location felt crampt.
Install was pretty easy. I’m handy, but no where near a mechanic. Wish I bought the HB Smalley adapter to go with it so I could keep the crash bars on as well.
After several years and several thousand miles (and 1 time down) it still feels just as solid as the stock install did and I love the extra room. Well made and does what it says.
